This is a series of small, framed wall-hung, high-relief sculptures. A significant quantity of material is removed to lower the field and make the seemingly minimal object emerge from it. Each of these is an experiment with generating a particular type of complex geometry. Some are exercises in surface geometries that are constructed from a minimal number of control points, and others are computer simulations of the geometries that would be created by a soap film in tension between boundary frames.
